A 27-year-old Pascoe Vale man has been charged with stalking and sexual assault.
He is expected to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court today.
Last week, the victim Sarah* said was crossing Sydney Road when she noticed a man close behind her.
“That’s where I’ve seen him approach from the side, and I’ve just become aware of him,” she said.
The woman said she now feels “uncomfortable” walking the usual route she has done for months, instead opting to ride her bike.
“I refuse to change the way I live my life,” she said.
