I read this news online that Lebanon citizens suffers from the worst economic and financial crisis aftermaths in the country in many years, it triggers them because of the Coronavirus pandemic and the explosion that destroyed Beirut the capital’s port. This causes street protests blocking up roads and streets, condemning the indifference of the ruling political elite amid the economic slowdown. The issue that caused the popular uprising mainly comes from an over 90% depreciation of the Lebanese pound against US dollar.
