Ms Leifer, 54, allegedly sexually abused the students between 2004 and 2008, when she was principal of the ultra-Orthodox Adass Israel School in Elsternwick.
The former students, Dassi Erlich, Nicole Meyer and Elly Sapper, have levelled the allegations against Ms Leifer.
Ms Leifer’s lawyers want to cross-examine the three sisters about “what was happening at home” at the time of the alleged abuse.
The cross-examination is set to take place during a five-day committal hearing in September.
The 10 people set to give evidence include the sisters’ doctor and other witnesses from Israel.
Ms Leifer fronted Melbourne Magistrates’ Court today for the committal mention, with her brother and sister watching on via video link from Israel.
The abuse allegedly occurred in the Melbourne suburbs of Elsternwick, Elwood, Emerald and Frankston, as well as Rawson in west Gippsland and Blampied in the Central Highlands.
Ms Leifer has always maintained her innocence.
The case will return to court in July.
