The body of Ms Nelson (pictured) was found in woods near Malton, North Yorkshire, in March that same year.
Dyson initially made a public plea for information to Nelson’s whereabouts before confessing to the crime after a last-minute change of plea.
He had killed Ms Nelson on February 13 and spent Valentine’s Day covering his tracks.
