ADNOC has secured multiple strategic collaboration agreements with renowned German hydrogen firms, giving the UAE a boost in its hydrogen goals today (March 21).

Collaborations with Aurubis, RWE, GETEC, and STEAG, all situated in Germany, are included in these agreements, and will look into low-carbon and renewable hydrogen derivatives. In 2022, the “first” low-carbon ammonia demonstration cargos, made by Fertiglobe, will be shipped from the UAE to Germany under this agreement.
