500,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccines were donated by the United Arab Emirates (UAE), marking a new milestone in the health diplomacy partnership between Malaysia and the UAE. On the 25th of January 2022, FM Dato’ Sri Abdullah received the vaccination cargo at a handover ceremony at KLIA. As Malaysia’s National COVID-19 Immunization Program progresses, the UAE’s newest donation is timely. 20,000 PCR test kits and 7 tons of hand sanitizers had already been donated by the UAE. The Malaysian government thanks the leaders of the UAE and the UAE government for their kind contributions.
