The National Festival of Tolerance and Coexistence’s global edition will begin today, Sunday, November 14th, and end on November 20th, 2021. The festival, which is organized by the Ministry of Tolerance and Coexistence, is a complement to the “Tolerance and Inclusivity Week,” during which Expo 2020 Dubai hosts the majority of activities and initiatives, with 192 countries participating. The festival’s international events will feature over 125 renowned figures who will give a comprehensive and diversified vision of global tolerance’s future. Nearly 4,000 high school and university students will take part in the festival’s 140 local, international, and student-led activities.

The challenges of youth, religions, women, and universities will be the emphasis of this edition. The Global Tolerance Alliance will be launched during the festival on November 16th, at 11:16 a.m., when the world will come together to honor the International Day for Tolerance with a collective and unified vow for tolerance and peaceful coexistence. In addition, in the presence of religious, political, and international leaders from around the world, the Joint World Summit of Religions will be launched. The summit’s goal is to foster discourse in order to better comprehend the distinctions that make us all unique and distinct in our ideas while being unified in our humanity.
