A child has been left with multiple fractures after a crash between a school bus and a car on the Warrego Highway at Wallumbilla near Roma, west of Toowoomba in Queensland.
Earlier this afternoon, Queensland Ambulance confirmed about 20 people were being treated at the scene.
The child with multiple broken bones is in a serious condition, while 16 other children are in a stable condition with injuries including cuts, abrasions, lacerations and fractures.
One adult is in a stable condition with minor injuries, while two people from the car are in a critical condition.
A total of 19 people were taken to Roma Hospital.
