Police have charged a man after he allegedly sexually touched and assaulted three girls at an Illawarra pool, south of Sydney.

Three 12-year-old girls were swimming in a wave pool at Jamberoo Action Park at 11.45am on Saturday, March 13, when they were allegedly grabbed by the waist by a man who wasn’t known to them.

The girls left the pool and reported the incident to staff and police.

Police arrested a 27-year-old man today at Blacktown Police Station, following an investigation by detectives from Lake Illawarra Police District.

He was charged with sexual touching girl between 10 and 16 years old and two counts of common assault.

The Doonside man was granted conditional bail to appear at Port Kembla Local Court on Wednesday, May 5.
