The authority had started vaccinating residents against the coronavirus with the Pfizer vaccine on December 23. However, a month later, the authority had rescheduled the first dose of the vaccine amid a global shortage. The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) said the vaccines have been distributed to all centres where the jab is offered for free. In addition to the Pfizer vaccine, the DHA also administers Sinopharm and Oxford-AstraZeneca jabs.
