Police are urging the mother of a 12-day-old baby girl to contact them after the pair went missing from Sydney’s eastern beaches on Valentine’s Day.

Kyia English, 35, and her new-born daughter, Calai, were last seen at Little Bay about 11am yesterday.

Police fear for their welfare and are urging Ms English to make contact with them to ensure both are safe and well.

She is described as being of Aboriginal appearance, with a thin build and approximately 160cm to 178m tall.

She has dark hair, and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing a black and white sweater, black tights, carrying a black and red backpack and pushing a black pram with a white canopy.

Ms English has ties to the Narwee and Beverley Hills area.
