US Congress Senators have expressed their support to the UAE’s new leadership as Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan takes charge as the President of the Gulf nation. Furthermore, Senators have extended condolences over the demise of the late UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
From New Jersey Senator Robert Menendez to Oklahoma Senator Jim Inhofe, US Congressmen hailed the UAE’s strong partnership with Washington and continuous efforts to building the bilateral ties.
“My sincere condolences to the UAE & its citizens on the passing of President Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, ruler of Abu Dhabi. Sheikh Khalifa built a legacy of partnership with the US, & we will hold the Emirati people & the Al Nahyan family in our thoughts as they mourn his loss,” the Senator Menendez posted on Twitter.
