Experts at the Middle-East Women’s Board of Directors Summit stated the UAE has accomplished some outstanding milestones in eliminating stereotypes and closing gender inequalities over the previous 50 years. The event is part of Khaleej Times’ new project, ‘Empowering Women, Empowering Businesses,’ which is based on the belief that every woman has the ability to lead and make positive change across economies. The initiative’s principal goal complements the work of the Dubai Women Establishment (DWE) and the UAE Gender Balance Council (GBC) .
Several high-level delegates, women directors, top government officials, and diversity professionals from worldwide organizations attended the conference on Wednesday, which focused on supporting women in crucial leadership roles both within and outside their work functions. Shamsa Saleh, CEO of the Dubai Women Establishment (DWE), noted that during the last 50 years, the UAE has accomplished “amazing milestones” in lowering gender stereotypes, revising discriminatory laws, and considerably closing gender inequalities.
