Meta will serve the Middle East and North Africa region from its new Dubai location, which will assist three billion users globally. The new headquarters were officially opened by Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, with Meta's Chief Operating Officer and celebrity philanthropist Sheryl Sandberg in attendance.
"The effort we've done so far is reflected in our new office." In an interview with Dubai Media Office, Fares Akkad, Regional Director, MENA, remarked, "It's an emblem of our presence in the region." Dubai Internet City, which was founded in the year 2000, is the MENA region's leading technological hub, with over 24,000 professionals and 1,600 business partners.
