The United Arab Emirates continues to lead the Covid-19 global resilience rankings, ahead of Ireland and Saudi Arabia. As more countries adapt to living with the virus, Bloomberg reported that the United Arab Emirates ranked first among the 53 economies studied in terms of vaccine doses delivered. "The country also did well on 'Vaccinated Travel Routes,' maintaining a low case count and low overall mortality during the past month," Bloomberg added. Due to a well-organized and extensive immunization campaign as well as strong preventative measures, the UAE has continuously been a high-performing country.

The Ministry of Health and Prevention announced on Thursday that a total of 24,087,368 vaccination doses were delivered, a rate of 243.54 doses per 100 individuals. In its most recent statement, the UAE reported 782 new Covid-19 instances, bringing the total number of active cases to 48,080, down from 70,743 on February 6. Norway, Australia, Spain, Finland, Columbia, the United Kingdom, and Portugal rounded out the top 10. The UK advanced three places to ninth position in the rankings as "Community Mobility" improved due to less restrictions, while the US rose three spaces to 20th place as the Omicron outbreak subsided.
