Kenya’s President, His Excellency Uhuru Kenyatta, led his country’s celebration of Expo 2020 Dubai National Day today (16 February), with a week of activities displaying the African nation’s rich culture, innovation, and economic variety. His Excellency Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan, UAE Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence and Commissioner General of Expo 2020 Dubai, greeted HE Uhuru Kenyatta. “Kenya’s participation in Expo 2020 Dubai gives us a view into its immense economic potential, highlighting major industries such as agriculture, innovation, and tourism,” HE Sheikh Nahayan said. It also highlights the country’s future aspirations, innovations, and hardworking citizens’ accomplishments.
“The UAE-Kenya relationship has grown exponentially since its establishment in the early 1980s, and we are eager to explore new frameworks for cooperation and exchange expertise in a multitude of areas of priority to our two countries during this Expo and beyond,” HE Uhuru Kenyatta said. We hope to take advantage of all of the Expo’s prospects to establish new business relationships, attract new investment, and bring tourists to Kenya to enjoy the country’s well-known attractions.
