Since the site opened in October 2021, the number of weekly visitors to Expo 2020 Dubai has surpassed 1 million for the first time, with a total of 13,457,400 as of Monday. Last week’s highlights included His Royal Highness Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, attending the pageantry and being welcomed by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of The Executive Council, on UK National Day on February 10.

The Philippines commemorated its National Day the next day, with a concert by Filipino-American pop icon Bamboo in Jubilee Park and a traditional performance by Daluyong ng Diwa representing the Filipino people’s 4000-year history. Last weekend, Grammy-nominated South African DJ, producer, and songwriter Black Coffee performed at Expo’s newest venue, the Dubai Exhibition Centre (DEC) Arena, while Thaikkudam Bridge and Bollywood superstar Ranbir Kapoor drew thousands of Indian fans to the Jubilee Stage’s familiar surroundings.
