Digital technology has been pushed into the formation of cultural policy in Arab countries. The 22nd session of the Conference of Arab Culture Ministers has concluded with a number of noteworthy decisions. The conference, which was organized by the Ministry of Culture and Youth in collaboration with the Arab League Cultural, Educational, and Scientific Organization (ALECSO), came to a close on Monday. During the two-day meeting, several crucial takeaways for the growth of Arab culture were made. More than 88 delegations including members of international organizations, as well as significant people from the Arab world, attended the event, which included 18 ministers in charge of cultural affairs from various Arab countries, the director-general of ALECSO, and the director-general of ALECSO.
It was also suggested that Arab countries focus on putting the results of the review of the comprehensive plan for Arab culture into practice and use them to establish national cultural development and joint cooperation policies. They proposed holding workshops and seminars to convey the comprehensive strategy for Arab culture and to introduce it to cultural bodies in their different nations so that it could be put into effect. They emphasized that the cultural projects agreed during this session will help Arab countries achieve cultural unification. The conference urged Arab countries to use digital technology to build cultural policies in order to protect persons and organizations working in the sector from crises.
