Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Hamad Al-Sabah was reappointed as the Prime Minister of Kuwait Tuesday, two weeks after his government resigned in a decision reportedly aimed at ending an impasse with the opposition lawmakers.
Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled has been tasked with forming the new cabinet, the state-owned Kuwait News Agency reported, citing the royal decree. “This order came within the framework and articles of the constitution and the Prime Minister will have to inform the National Assembly of the Amiri order,” the statement added.
