The UAE occupied the first place in terms of regional headquarters for the annual Forbes Middle East list “Global Meets Local”. 48 companies out of 50 (96%) have the UAE as their regional headquarters. The list also highlights the 50 CEOs who lead the regional offices of companies in the Forbes ranking of the 2000 largest public companies around the world (Global 2000).
The executives on the list belong to 28 nationalities, with Lebanon and France topping the list with five posts each, followed by Britain and Egypt with four each.
