They are lying to you on the behalf of their regime to take cash from you. The border with POLAND is CLOSED and no one can cross. People get stuck there and the WINTER is coming where the temperatures are NEGATIVE.
The Belarusian soldiers will not allow you to come back and Polish ones will not let you pass. You will be stuck there with no way in or out!
