Vincent Heuston was last seen on Wednesday afternoon at his North Street, Tambourine Mountain home.
9News understands Mr Heuston was found this morning at the bottom of a cliff face that his property backs onto.
Several police and emergency crews are at the scene attempting to retrieve Mr Heuston, with drones and a winch also being deployed.
