The body of a woman has been found in a Geelong West backyard this afternoon.
Police were called to a home on Isabella Street around 1pm where they found a woman in her 60s deceased.
Homicide Squad detectives are combing the area and are expected to be there through the night.
SES crew were also called in to assist with preserving the scene.
Circumstances surrounding the woman’s death are unclear but her death is being treated as suspicious.
