A fairly comprehensive overview of a perhaps too often overlooked relationship between the state with the largest Shia population and the state with the largest Sunni population (Iran and Indonesia, respectively). After outlining their relationship, the article continues by reviewing some of the other practices of the Indonesian government, as well as occasionally the reaction by Iran, vis a vis the Indonesian Shia population.
